Where did the name “The Malinówka Inn” come from?
The name of our guesthouse is no coincidence. “Malinówka” refers to the wild raspberries that grow abundantly on the nearby hills.
Their sweetness, natural simplicity, and intense aroma became a symbol of what we want to offer our guests – authenticity, warmth, and the joy found in life’s simple pleasures.
Just like raspberries ripening in the sun, The Malinówka Inn matured over time to become a place people want to return to.
The Malinówka Inn is a special place on the map of Kashubia, born from dreams, hard work, and a good dose of Kashubian persistence.
The story began on February 23, 2011, when we decided to buy a neglected guesthouse from our neighbor.
We saw its hidden potential and chose to transform it into a welcoming and lively inn.
History
On February 24, 2011, renovations and remodeling began – an intense period filled with challenges but also hope.
We rolled up our sleeves and committed to high standards, cozy and comfortable interiors, and, most importantly, the use of natural and high-quality materials.
Thanks to the support of local companies known for their diligence and craftsmanship, the renovation went smoothly.
By August 23, 2011, we were proud to open the first part – a Kashubian restaurant and guest rooms. That’s when the real story of Malinówka began.
It wasn’t an easy journey – the place had to overcome the poor reputation left by its previous owners. But with determination, daily effort, and positive energy, we slowly rebuilt trust and created the warm atmosphere that hundreds of guests now appreciate.
The satisfaction of our visitors became our biggest motivation to keep growing.
In June 2015, we built three charming, single-level cottages on the hillside by the forest, offering stunning views.
In 2017, we added four more – larger, two-story cottages with saunas and hot tubs, providing exceptional comfort in the heart of nature.
A year later, in 2018, we opened a modern conference and banquet hall, expanding Malinówka’s possibilities to include company events and family celebrations.
